1. Service Description

VLN (Vaste Lasten Nederland) provides an automated document processing platform that extracts information from invoices and financial documents. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not upload documents containing illegal content
  • You must not attempt to breach our security measures

3. Document Processing

Our AI-powered system extracts information from your documents. While we strive for accuracy, you are responsible for verifying all extracted information before use. VLN is not liable for errors in automated extraction.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use VLN only for legitimate business purposes. Prohibited activities:

  • Processing documents you do not have rights to
  • Attempting to reverse engineer our technology
  • Sharing your account credentials with others
  • Using the service for fraudulent purposes

5. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenances will be announced in advance when possible.

6. Limitation of Liability

VLN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your profile settings.

4. Data Retention

We retain your documents and extracted data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual documents at any time. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these cases:

  • To comply with legal obligations
  • With service providers who assist in our operations (under strict confidentiality agreements)
  • To protect our rights and prevent fraud
